Records Department

Mission Statement

To maintain a records and information system that is responsive to project needs, meets legal requirements, and facilitates accurate and timely filing and retrieval of material.

The Central Utah Water Conservancy District, recognizing the importance of tracking recorded information, has developed a Records Management System to preserve and protect those records vital to the successful operation of the District, the Central Utah Project (CUP) and Central Utah Project Completion Act (CUPCA).

The District recognizes the enactment of the Government Records Access and Management Act (GRAMA), UCA 63-2-101 et seq. and its application to District Records. To read GRAMA, click on this link: http://www.archives.state.ut.us/main/index.php?module=Pagesetter&func=viewpub&tid=1&pid=196
